Chongqing will build ten beautiful public spaces

According to the Chongqing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Committee, at present, the work of governance and promotion is being carried out in an orderly manner, with the "two rivers and four banks" in the main urban area totaling 394 kilometers, and the investigation of the current situation of 109 kilometers of coastline has been completed and an implementation plan has been issued.

Due to the lack of unified planning and the construction of 19.1 km riverside shoreline in Yuzhong District, most of the park green space, buildings and ancillary facilities are relatively old, the environment under the Binjiang viaduct is poor, and most of the low-end businesses along the line are logistics, freight and so on.

The newly planned coral park area of Changbin Road is divided into the Yangtze River ecological vestibule-Coral Park, the Yangtze River ecological popular science wetland-coral dam, the citizen culture and leisure belt-Binjiang Park, the city balcony-Chuqimen Wharf, Dongshuimen and Binjiang Walking Road-Chuqimen Riverside Section and other major areas.

The Wetland of Ecological Science Popularization of the Yangtze River-- Coral Dam

In view of the existing topography and geomorphology of the coral dam, the scheme will excavate the natural educational significance of the coral shoal and create the Yangtze River ecological science wetland. 

Coral dam entrances and exits are added to the traffic, and seasonal popular science education activities are organized from April to June. Landscape settings will provide kayak rental, fishing equipment, picnics and other amusement facilities to provide tourists with seasonal leisure activities. Binjiang Park-- Citizen Culture Recreation area

Binjiang Park is now the most popular area of Changbin Road in Yuzhong, with a large number of tea and beverage formats, derived from a rich market culture. 

By combing and excavating the site memory and cultural and historical resources of different sections, this section will create a humanistic style belt with the themes of "municipalities directly under the Central Government", "Anti-Japanese War Culture", "Ecological Evolution of the Yangtze River", "Mountain City Tea Culture" and "Urban Origin".

Urban balcony-- Chuqimen Wharf

According to reports, the traffic location advantage of Chuqimen Wharf is outstanding, and it is an important node from the hinterland of the city to the riverside area. 

With a wide field of vision and rich viewing resources on the other side, it is positioned as the balcony of Chuqimen city. 

In the rectification and reform, we will expand the walking scope of citizens, design greening according to park standards, eliminate green bank breakpoints along the river, retain and enhance the functional properties of the wharf, and create memory galleries of the Yangtze River and urban balconies.

Binjiang Walk-- Dongshuimen and Chuqimen Riverside Section

The Riverside Walk has a broad field of vision, but the existing Changbin Road blocks the city's hinterland from reaching the waterfront, and the existing hydraulic retaining wall also affects the effect inside the city. " 

According to Wang Chao, in the design plan, vegetation will be used to block and beautify the current retaining wall to weaken the stiff and oppressive feeling of the high retaining wall.
