 In the cold winter, Zhongshansha that quietly guard the banks of Yangtze River are gradually submerged into the river. The colorful leaves on the trees’ tops light up the river, creating a beautiful water forest that serves as a habitat for many wintering waterfowl. The birds dance and fight against the wind, adding life to the quiet Yangtze River.

Such splendid scenery is due to the continued promotion of ecological protection and restoration and the construction of the Yangtze River Ecological Corridor by Wanzhou District. In recent years, Wanzhou District has been making efforts to implement greening along the Yangtze River with the protection of the mother river as the core, improving the forest landscape and ecological functions along the river, and continuously upgrading the construction of green ecological corridor along the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

Walking along the river road nowadays, one will find that the water blends with the city of Wanzhou and the mountains meet the water, presenting the ebullience and grandeur of the city of mountains and water.
